Digital News Report 2019 – An Overview of the Canadian Results

News consumers in Canada tend to have a rather positive opinion of the job done by the media and a majority of them trust most of the news, but when it comes to paying for an online service, news are not a priority. Moreover, more than half of our respondents admit to actively avoid them at least occasionally.

Those are just a few of the observations that can be drawn from the Canadian data of the 2019 Digital News Report, an annual online international study led by the Reuters Institude for the Study of Journalism.
