Where do Canadians get their news from? Which devices do they use to access news? Which social media are used to read, comment and share news content?
This publication summarizes some key findings on those topics from the Canadian data of the Digital News Report 2025 study.
Among the highlights, this document shows that when it comes to online news, Canadian respondents still prefer reading them (48%) to watching them (23%), or listening to them (11%).
Other documents highlighting the data from the Digital News Report will be published in the coming months.
